Six leading, national construction managers collaborated to launch Construction Inclusion Week. PRAXIS was hired to establish the brand, provide project management oversight, develop DEI materials, including a DEI Maturity Model Assessment, and overall execution of the national PR/marketing communications campaign.
PRAXIS led event management including concept, branding, and execution for the groundbreaking ceremony. Scope included significant collaboration with the City of Farmers Branch and other project stakeholders.
PRAXIS developed a teaming arrangement between two minority owned construction firms to strategically pursue work for Dallas Area Rapid Transit. This successful strategy resulted in the award of two work packages for the expansion of 25 light rail stations.
Community development firm, Innovan Neighborhoods, has partnered with PRAXIS for several initiatives including the launch of the Community Developers Roundtable, project outreach engagement, and strategy.
PRAXIS developed branding, collateral, and messaging for a North Texas construction industry safety initiative. TEXO's Safety First program is a noted safety credential seen on project sites throughout the region and provides assurance of worker safety training.
PRAXIS partnered with the Dallas Regional Chamber to refine, message, and launch their Southern Dalles Ecnomic Development guide. This guide serves as a data and news platform to encourage economic development throughout Southern Dallas County.

As a Dallas, TX-based firm, our work takes place on the lands of the Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Towakani, Caddo, Wichita, as well as the tribes that may have lived here and roamed the area – including Comanche, Kiowa and Apache—historic Indigenous communities in Texas. In offering this land acknowledgment, we honor, respect, and affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history, and experiences.
In addition, we acknowledge that much of what we know of this country today, including its culture, economic growth, and development throughout history and across time, has been made possible by the labor of enslaved Africans and their ascendants who suffered the horror of the transatlantic trafficking of their people, chattel slavery, and Jim Crow. We are indebted to their labor and their sacrifice, and we must acknowledge the tremors of that violence throughout the generations and the resulting racial, political, social, and justice inequities that permeate the Built Environment.
