For the past thirty years, DCH, Inc. has been a trusted leader in delivering affordable housing in Dallas. PRAXIS was engaged at a pivotal moment to reintroduce the brand and amplify its work by showcasing its first new construction development in over ten years. The event served several strategic objectives for the organization, including serving as the launch of the clients' 2023 North Texas Giving Day Campaign.

Situation

DCH (formerly Dallas City Homes) needed to leverage a new groundbreaking event to achieve multiple marketing objectives:

  • Introduce new brand and image
  • Celebrate the commencement of construction of the new Armonia Apartments
  • Recognize the various development partners
  • Honor the community legacy of the historic La Bajada neighborhood
  • Amplify partnership with City of Dallas, LISC Strategic Investments, and TREC Community Investors

Solution

With a four-week schedule, PRAXIS mobilized our team to identify and secure vendors to create a high-caliber, experiential marketing event. Scope included collateral, event promotions, vendor negotiations/management, and day-of-execution.

Results

Over 100 RSVPS and over 80% of the invited guests attended the event. We didn't have traditional measures of success for our event. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees and the client.
